Ends up there is no big problem with my white blood count being lower (so don't frigging call me first thing in the morning to report it!) and had nothing at all to say about my numb/painful thigh. So, once again... It is what it is!

It took many years and many disappointing sessions with neurologists to finally understand my symptoms. I hope you will find the right doctor to get to the bottom of it all soon. Keep looking, their out there.

I wish you had received some news that was a little more helpful, but it's good news that your WBCs being low isn't dangerous. Keep us posted about your numbness, won't you?

My numbness is expanding as of this morning. It was just below my hip to my knee. Today it's up into my hip and just above. The NP I saw Wednesday kind of glossed over that. I guess as long as I can feel my lower leg and foot so I can walk, I'm okay.

Does your PCP or neuro think there is any new disease activity?

I just had an MRI about a month or so ago and there was nothing new. They did my brain and neck but didn't check my spine. Wish they had...

My white count on my urine sample was low. 😕 It usually means infection/disease》well DUH, I have MS!!! But instead they give me antibiotics for UTI because I had some kind of bacteria in my urine. I don't understand it. I want alot more answers. I will ask questions on Tuesday when I get my infusion. 😕❤🌷

Glad to hear the blood count wasn't anything serious. Next time you see your pt ask about a possible pinched sciatic nerve. I see a pt for back issues unrelated to MS. I had a line of duty accident that injured my back and it is finally being treated properly. She's always checking me to be sure that the sciatic nerve isn't getting pinched. That might be what is causing some of the numbness.
