Response to Gilda5

In response to Gilda5, I had "injection fatigue" even before I started on Copaxone (daily injection) in 2003. I have never liked needles. But that was actually a major reason that I chose daily injection Copaxone over the other meds & options that were available at that time (which were 3 times a week or weekly injections). I knew that if I had the choice of which days or weeks to inject that I would find or make up excuses to skip injections. However, the daily Copaxone injection had become a standard, almost automatic, part of my daily morning routine. The Copaxone is working well for me. There are now some oral & other med options that might or might not work as well. But as long as daily Copaxone is working well for me, there isn't much reason to switch to another med that might or might not work for me.

Exactly make it a daily routine. "ROUTINE" is the operative word. It is something that happens, it just does because it is the routine. Daily injections, every other day, weekly. You have to with every stitch in your body make it a routine. No more than a routine. There are ways to do it easier like an autoject, headache tablets anti bruise cream rotating injection sites.

I used to wear a yellow plastic helmet and plat Bob the Builder and imagine that it was using a bulldozer to clean up the damaged myelin. Silly, Yes. But it got me to the next injection, always remembering the goal to look back at 90 years od age and say "ha ma I laugh at you, i was never beaten"

Yes, yes, yes! An autojet & rotating sites are in my daily Copaxone routine. Heck, over the years, I've worn out half-a-dozen autojets & had to call Shared Solutions for replacements.
