Quilting ~ My Guilty Pleasure

I love to quilt! My favorite part is picking the pattern and the fabrics. Cutting out the pieces and then sewing them back together. Am I crazy? Well, apparently!

Here is one of the many quilts that I have done over the years. This was inspired by a trip to AZ over 10 years ago! It is almost done.

I must admit that I collect more fabric than I quilt but over the past couple of years, I have made over 20+ quilts. I will try to share pictures of them with you, greaterexp.

Enjoy :-D

I like to use denim from old jeans. We are at our mountain cabin for the summer. I'll see if I have anything here to share.

That’s beautiful!! I love quilts, I don’t sew anything more than a button and that doesn’t always stay on! Wonderful job.

if I cannot sew it with my machine, it just doesn't get sewn! Buttons included! :-)

The pattern is called Margit's Windmills and was from the Quilter Magazine (March 2003).

Carole, it's Fancy1959. I definitely would not call your quilting a guilty pleasure! I would call it as it is and as I see it. Your quilting is a work of art. What an awesome way to express yourself and to show your creativity and your true artistic talent. Once again we have many many talented people in our extended family here in the chat room! Your quilts are beautiful! Fancy.

A beautiful talent and gift of creation. Couldn't thread a needle the other day due to eye problems. Groan, was inspired.

Thank you for your compliment! Threading a needle is tough for me too. But I get lucky sometimes, or I just do something else! :-D
