Dry, itchy skin

Avonex has been so hard on my skin. Regular body lotion does nothing to relieve the dryness. How are those of you with dry, itchy skin handling it? I'd love some product recommendations!

Are you sure it’s the Avonex? If it’s really uncomfortable, there are a lot of different meds-DMTs- you could try. Good luck! Let us know how you make out and if you find a good lotion.

I use a product called Udderly Smooth. It's for sale over the counter at most large chain stores. Its container is spotted like a Holstein cows body and is round in about three and a half inch in diameter and 3 to 4 in tall. The moisturizer has lanolin in it and doesn't feel greasy but stays on your skin for several hours giving it lots of moisture. I discovered it when I was running a horse farm and my hands took a beating, were a mess and cracked a lot. You can find it at most large chain retailers or if that's not a successful avenue for you just Google it and get it off the internet. I promise you it will help bunches and bunches! Fancy.
