I have learned the hard way that not all doctors will make recommendations for you to switch medications or at least remind you that if you don't consider trying something else and your current one isn't working that you won't be able to get back what you loose during that time. Just FYI

YOU are correct, good reason for us to be knowledgeable about our illness, and be a VER ACTIVE manager of our condition, for when it boils down to it, we get to live with 24/7, not anybody else.
What happened cats3 ? Are you ok? ๐ is the trasyby not working? ๐ค๐

My first Tysabri infusion was a breeze! Obviously should have switched sooner. I am having some leg swelling so I will probably drag out the compression hose again and will be calling to let them know today. I had progressively gotten weaker before I went on it so we will see. My doctor kept saying for two years I would be ok if you want to switch to an oral after Betaseron instead of reminding me that if you have more symptons you won't get them back. We will see. Thank you for asking!
We have to be our own activists and learn everything we can about the disease and what is going on with our bodies.

Good luck on the Ocrevus! I went with Tysabri so we will take one day at a time!
Hey I'm big on being my own activist! My Dr's. Don't necessarily like it, or understand it at 1st, but I think they start to come around if you are earnest enough! ๐ either that or they just want to get rid of me.๐ค
cats3 always fight for you! ๐ค๐
