Hi all I made it to my doctors appointment by car which made it so much more easier, my husband was able to take the day off.
So I went to the doctors PC and first I had to have blood drawn. I always have problems I have small veins. Well they had 3 Phlebotomist Working on trying to get blood out the first veil was know problem the other three veilwas very hard I went to see my doctor and I had 4 bandages on me by the time I saw my doctor. The doctors appointment was about how my legs were doing now I don’t know about you but it’s a little hard to discriminate how you are feeling to someone who has never had that kind of feeling.

It is a very hard one to explain. Until you have experienced it first hand, it’s very hard to put into words. Pleased that you got there and back safely. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🍫 🤗
Yes it was good we went to a roast beef take out and parking right by the Atlanta Ocean this seagull decided it want some food so it decided to sit on the hood of my car.
Ssdw1958, it's Fancy1959. When my vein seeing needle headed their way they tend to run and hide! Honest to goodness you can see him and feel them and point them out to people and when they come and put the tight little band around the bicep area to make the veins pop they simply take and Run for Cover! LOL. That is until like you said you get stuck about three or four times before they finally find something and you have bandages all over.
That's always always my dilemma to, how exactly to you explain what is happening to you and how you feel to someone who has never had MS. I know clinically they are taught about it but it's not the same thing as actually having it. Like the old saying goes until you walk a mile in my shoes, you don't know how the shoes feel. I totally agree with that sentiment! Take care and we'll speak soon. Remember together we are stronger!
Ssdw1958, I prefer to travel in my car also. But my husband absolutely refuses to use it very much. He loves his truck and his small, old, SUV! I can get right in my car but I have to use a stool to get in both of the other vehicles. I don't understand it all the time but I'm just happy, most times, to go along and get out of the house! Especially now since my leg is immobilized in my silly brace and I cannot drive! Fancy.
It is tough to relate your MS symptoms to your doctor but try we must. Having a daily journal helps as well as I constantly fight the fatigue and brain fog . I am not so good at keeping that journal.
That's great news that you got to the appointment more easily in the car. I'm sorry about the tough time having your blood drawn. I used to draw blood numerous times a day. We had one nurse who rarely missed, but there were some patients who still had to be stuck a few times. She'd always laugh and say, "Don't tell them where you've been!"
I've often thought that we need a new vocabulary to describe how we feel, since our present one falls short so many times.
You should have seen my going into the doctor after having my blood drawn I looked like I had a fight and I lost. Three bandages one of the nurses asked if I wanted a bandage on the smallest of needle marks I said yes. Then I said that would be the one to start bleeding and you want to know it was. I drank water but then again I have raynards it was hot out side and cold inside. You know what happened to my veins gone.
