Almost forgot!

No surprise there... Quite a few years ago, when I was working full time, I also worked part time in the evenings and weekends in a book store. (The bibliophile in me loved it!) The store would receive free ARC's (Advance Reader Copies) so employees would read them and then be able to recommend books to customers. The people I worked with and for were all in their 20's, not the older woman like me, so their interests were quite different than mine so I got a boatload of books for free! I still have (I think) 6 cartons full that I've been trying to get through. I kept hearing about other books that sounded really good and would check them out from the library and ignore the mountain at home! Well, I decided I really had to start pulling from them so I've been grabbing one, reading it, and (so far) passing them on. I grabbed one Tuesday and finished it yesterday. I was hooked because the main characters friend has MS! In fact the back of the cover says that proceeds of the sales were going to the National MS Foundation! It's called Cheap Cabernet by Cathie Beck. Never read a book with a MS character before!

I got it for free when I worked at the bookstore, WAY before I was diagnosed!

That is awesome! I just bought the book for my Kindle. Always looking for a new book (though I will admit that I have about a gazillion already in my Kindle that I've not read yet. It's my life insurance policy - I promise myself that I can't die until I've read all my books. Lol. Thanks for the heads-up about the book.

I also have a gazillion on my Kindle. I am such a bibliophile. I have tons of books and I love to read. I've always said that some people do drugs or drink for their escape...I read. I hope you enjoy this book. It is nonfiction but written as fiction.

I read “A Million Ordinary Days” about a year ago. The main character had MS.

I'm going to have to read this one. Thanks! Did you like it?

The main character had MS and was stubborn and in denial a lot and I found that very frustrating. But her family was pretty supportive and realistic about the disease. I’m glad I read it..
