Anxiety after steroids
I think anxiety can be a problem for some folks with MS. I'm thrilled for you that the steroids are giving you relief from symptoms, including the anxiety.
Before getting steroids, your usually having symptoms which can cause a level of anxiety. So after getting steriods is supposed to help with the syptoms. With that being said, it's helping to calm you, make you feel better & lesser anxiety. This is wonderful news! It's doing what it's supposed to be doing.
Not add backwards at all...whether it was your first or 10th infusion, why wouldn't you be anxious. Whenever we are treated by a doctor we want to make sure everything goes well with no mishaps. I hope they continue to help.
Happy Easter.
ass backwards...I guess autocorrect didn't want me swearing...
Anxiety is a common MS symptom that isn't talked about much. My guess is that the exacerbation started or worsened anxiety for you. The steroids have reduced the inflammation, hence you feel better.
