I got the book Wahls protocol and also her cookbook off amazon. My sister actually got it for me. But the cookbook is great cuz she talks abot how u can grow so many of ur own ingredients and stuff so its not expensive to make.
I am not on a MS med cuz i just got over pneumonia and my last MRI had no new lesions so my neuro said a new med cud wait. So i am trying to follow the Wahls diet. Its not easy but her story is very inspirational.
Oh ok the wahls yes i heard about tht one ..do u beleive its helping
I have lost 18 pounds so i think it works. She has 3 levels u can do and i am on level one. I have also started exercising more so i think that helps as well. No new lesions on my MRI was awesome news and not being on a MS med the only thing i can attribute it to is healthy living. But u never know ya know?
Yes ok i will have to see if library has her cookbook
MSAA has a library as well u can sign up for if u cant find it at ur local library. I checked out MS for dummies wen i first got diagnosed. It was totally helpful

I have been on the keto diet to reduce inflammation. The diet also claims that ketones are neuroprotective and may help with symptoms and progression of MS. It consists of 75 to 80 percent good fats, 15 to 20 percent proteins, and 5 percent carbs.
I have only been on it for a week, but already my severely arthritic feet are starting to feel better.
I think thats what Wahls level 3 diet is. She talks a lot about ketones and good fats and all that. She went from being unable to walk to walking again by diet alone. She makes no claims that it is any kind cure, just that it helped her so she shares what she did.
