Falling down a rabbit hole...

Hi all, Hope you are having a great Pi day (3.14) - though with the Stephen Hawkin's passing and another one in the family, I am all out of sorts. Having said that....

I am newly diagnosed, just nine months into the MS journey. Feels like I am shading my eyes and blinking in the bright sunlight. This March month of awareness has been a 'coming out' party for me - of sorts. Rejuvenated my blog, signed up to me an MS ambassador for the NMSS, and I will talk about MS to anyone who will listen.

A chance meeting this weekend flung me into cleansing journey I was totally unprepared for, unecessary baggage came tumbling out and i am a 1000 lbs. lighter.

runneranu.wordpress.com/ please read and give me your comments. It will mean so much to me! I appreciate yoru time.

I got this, I will beat this and so can you, my sojourners!!

Hi and welcome. I read part of your blog. It sent me back in time to relive my own diagnosis experience, when I heard those words, "you have MS", and knew that life would never be the same again.

Unfortunately, I couldn't read it all, as I have visual challenges. Thanks for sharing.

It read your blog about your diagnosis process. What a wild ride we board when we get that diagnosis! MS brings an emotional and physical roller coaster.

Thanks for sharing your perspective with us. I think we can all identify.

runneranu I read all of the first blog and a bit of the March 11, You sound like many of us feel at first symptoms, questions and the denial factor. "What, not me, I've got a life to live!" The investigation to find out what's happening and the words, "you have MS!" It's devastating! and my first neuro just kind of wrote me off. For the most part, many of us share your feelings, frustrations, and questions. You can find many answers here. Please allow me to Welcome you to our group, feel free to read along, ask and answer questions, comments. I'm really glad that I found this group, it's been a lifesaver and I've met many that I know will be lifelong friends.. Keep on visiting us!
