For those of you in states that participate in Daylight Savings time, change your clocks late Saturday or early Sunday... Remember the old adage: Spring forward & Fall Back!

Just used the term Spring forward & Fall Back earlier today to remind my mom! Thank you for reminding us!

Why is spring my favorite time of year? Because I love all the colors of flowers coming up and blossoming. The trees with their buds turning into tiny leaves and...and...I lose an hour of sleep WAH! Yeah, well it's not like I don't feel like that already. LOL!

Hi right now I love spring, I love it any way but after these last storms it is going to be so nice to see the sun 🌞 and feel the soft breeze. So I want to thank you fCalfeeChick for reminding me to change the clocks for ward.

There was a year or two I got very confused one year One i put the clocks back another i for got all together well that year we didn’t make mass oops. So now a days one of the local realator offices send out a post card to re mine everyone. Believe you me I keep that on the counter to remind me, no more mix up.

ssdw1958 I was very proud I was able to reset the time on the alarm clock by myself! EXCEPT...I set it ahead 2 hours! Found out this morning when I woke my husband up thinking he overslept. It was 4:55 am. -OOOOOOPS!😂 -Kris

So he was on time for where ever he was going I'm sure he was so happy NOT

I bet you won't make that mistake again. At least you were one time I made everyone late. LOL

ssdw1958 He laid down and went back to sleep. I was awake and upbeat and reminded him my mistake was a good thing - at least I didn’t let him oversleep 2 hours for work! My (2nd) mistake was taking my meds early and having all the housework done by 7:30 am - paying for it this afternoon! Oh well.😂

Oh that's not a good thing, especially the wrong way medicine that can mess you up for a few days. So you had the whole day to relax.

After I set my clocks the wrong way that year I haven’t done it again.

ssdw1958 I showered and that’s about it - layed down twice. I already have my meds stretched longer than they should be to make it until 6:30 pm then I crash. I literally have them overlapped so I have to take something every hour (thank goodness for my Mango Health medication reminder app) to get the most benefit. I was referred for a baclofen pump trial - fingers crossed. Was looking forward to making it to 7:30 pm with the time change time-oh well not tonight! I think I thru my husbands whole day off. He was in the basement searching for something frantically (b4 leaving again). My daughter asked what he was looking for. He said his belt - she pointed and said the one you are wearing dad?😂 it’s not just us that makes the dumb mistakes - I personally point out mine own mistakes & laugh - my daughter just said “glad I could help you dad” and then ran upstairs to laugh with me.😂

kris1973 I am laughing with you. I for get my glasses all the time, I don’t ask any one any more if they have seen them until I put my hands on my face to make sure they are not on my face LOL 9.999 times out of 10 there right on my face. That is too scary 😆 LOL

In the south we are already getting the signs of spring. It’s green and all over everything especially eyes and sinuses.😙😋 and cars and everywhere. The pollen count is already rising. No use washing a car because it will be covered again in an hour.

Thanks for the reminder, CalfeeChick - but do I have to? (She says with whiny voice). I fight so hard for my sleep and to lose an hour of it is hard

OK! If you all want a good giggle...... Guess who forgot to change her clocks??? ME! I was very organized yesterday morning,(Saturday) I did a bunch of errands, passed a little time at a used book store, then drove about 40 miles to visit some of my really favorite friends. Drove towards home, stopped and picked up Chinese Take-out for our dinner, it was yummy. Hubby had stopped on his way home from golf tourney, picked up Chocolate cake and ice cream.. Perfect! Crawled into bed about 8:30 PM and it was LIGHTS OUT! woke up about 12:30 AM. Took my missed dose of meds. Woke up at 7:30 AM (8:30) to my hubby giggling at me because I slept so long. Today is a rest day for sure. Legs have been really uncomfortable the last 2 nights, so resting them today. HAHAHA at me!

I have to let you know my husband has been working so much with the power outage so I had woke up about 1:30am I wanted to stay up until 2pm well I did and I watched it changed from 1:59 to 3:00pm then I remembered my son had to get up to go to work that's when you realize you really lose an hour and I had to tell him it was time to get up. Let me tell you it was really hard to get him up.

Happy spring not yet we are going to get another Nor'Easter:(

We had some really warm blue sky days this week I actually have a few blossoms on my nectarine tree I started almost 2 yrs ago from a seed. It's been dreary, cold foggy yesterday and today. My bones and MS tell me it time to just stay warm and get lots of rest. Hope you don't get another Nor'Easter. Lynn

Hi I'm not from Lynn but I am close, but we are going to get another storm this time they are predicting 8-12” or more. And doesn’t it figure I have a doctors appointment. Great another one to reschedule and try to get a ride. But yes we are going to get more snow ❄️ I pray we don’t lose the power again because that was really cold. I have to say these people who suggest to go to a hotel are they going to pay for it, I can’t get in and out of a bed and goodness if it’s not a handicap bathroom oh yeah how do i get anything to eat. Ok I am complaining again sorry about that.
