I received my TurboMed AFO on Friday. After wearing a traditional plastic AFO for a few years, I found that it was so uncomfortable, especially in the hot weather, that I just stopped wearing it. Then I saw Kenu's post about the TurboMed and emailed the manufacturer (which is based in Canada) and it turns out they are in the US as well. With a script from the Dr., it was covered 100%. It is incredibly comfortable to wear and sometimes I forget I have it on. It is attached to the outside of your shoe so no worries about having to get a larger shoe so the AFO fits into it. The rep. came to my home and fitted it to my shoe and gave me extra parts so I could fit it into other shoes as well. It can even attach to sandals. But the best part is, it works!!

For anyone in the uk, the Turbomed is available through Talarmade. I have to ring them tomorrow. I emailed Canada and they got back to me right away. I will let you know how I get on. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈 🍫

This is so funny, jimeka. I was just going to email the rep. here in Virginia to ask him about locations in the UK. Good luck with it!!
