MISSED 'EM AGAIN

As most of you who have been on this site for awhile know, my husband and I have been chasing the Aurora Borealis, last year in Iceland and this year in Fairbanks, Alaska. Well, we missed them again! We actually did see the wind that shot across the sky and made weird patterns which everyone said was the Northern Lights, but what we saw had no color to it, just a weird bluish-gray. Alaska was gorgeous, though. We had a rental car and went to Denali National Park and saw the mush dogs, and to a cute little town called North Pole, and since it was just after New Year's Eve, all the trees and lights were still out. I did hear a scientist who studies the Lights say that March is a good month to see the Lights, so next March, we are going to go to Chena Hot Springs and try again. After all, this is a Bucket List item!

Sukie427 sounds like you are having lots of fun chasing these northern lights. I know that they will be worth it when you do, keep us posted, and I expect a photo. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈
