Hi guys! it has been a very long time! I want to say I have missed you all very much. I hope and pray you all had an amazing Christmas and New year Holiday.
To fill you all in. I am getting my mind back into the swing of things and am getting back into being social. My symptoms are still the exact same. My back is always killing me and I am weak and tired all the time. Welcome to MS, right!? Anyway,if any of you remember my falling over my dog and hitting my sleeping wife with my cane story. I have had an MRI of my shoulder and have officially ripped a bunch of stuff in there. Great! said no one ever! I am headed to the Dr in about an hour to see how he wants to handle it.
I have changed meds to Morphine 60mg time release 2x's a day plus a 15 mg pill twice a day if needed. But of course the government and insurance know what is best for me and think I only need 20 mg a day. So it is a constant battle to get my meds and have my pain under control. They have even told me what insulin I can take. Insurance and government telling me and my Drs what is best for me is going to drive me crazy! Wait.......... I am already crazy. Oh well.
One more negative thing. My grandmother passed away back in December. The good thing is I was actually able to get on a plane and get my butt back home to see here before hand. I traveled and survived!!!!!!! Yay! She was 96 and her cancer had come back for the 3rd or 4th time and she decided she was done and wanted to go home and let God handle it. Well he did. He took her home for Christmas.
Anyway. I hope to be on here reading, sharing and telling my stupid stories and antics. Not to mention listen to those of you I have missed and I truly hope to make more friends!
Happy New year!
I love you all!
Rob

rlh1974 thank God you are back. I have missed your input and funny stories. I am sorry that you have lost your Grandma but I am pleased for you that you were able to see her before she was called home. I hope your son is doing well at college, and I hope that you get your shoulder sorted. Blessings Jimeka π¦ π
So glad youβre back and getting your shoulder fixed. Iβm sorry about your loss of your grandmother. Iβm happy you were able to see her once more, and I hope you have many treasured memories of her.
Someone is feelinβ saucey!!!! Lol. Iβm looking forward to it. Just remember, Iβm the snarky sarcastic one here!π Itβs good to be back! Thanks.
rlh1974 . Hey Rob. Good to hear from you. Sorry about your pain problems. As a fellow chronic pain sufferer I understand all to well. Glad you got to see your grandmother before she passed but she doesnβt have to suffer pain anymore. Sorry about your shoulder. This falling is not for the weak. Last time I fell I fractured my hand.
But glad your back my friend. kdali gave us an update on you but good to hear from you personally.
I am glad your back with the other crazies your not alone.
I hope all goes well at the doctors. No more side shows I still remember reading about your fall it was not good for all three of you but as I write this I have a small chuckle Sorry about that lol
Sandra, my Dr laughs. When I saw him yesterday I was walking back to the room and he was in the way talking to his nurse. Jokingly, when he saw me he covered his head and flinched. Yelled out loud, βdonβt hit me in head with your cane again!
Glad you returned! Your antics were surely missed no doubt. You seem in a much better emotional state. Praise God. I was praying. Sorry about Grandma but good you got to see her. Where is "home'?
Hi Rob, glad you are back. Hope you can keep your pain under control with all the big brother restrictions. I think it's a ploy by the insurance companies to get out of paying. Glad you were brave enough to make the trip.
