Hi everyone how are you? I'm new i asked Google a symptom and it brought me to you, I've never been diagnosed but have been tested for everything possible lupus Lyme disease fibromyalgia. I had a seizure which landed me in the er n we found out i had a heart attack earlier that week, so for the next 3 years pills n Dr appts , blood lots of blood withdrawals every month, injections which paralyzed me for a couple of months. I yr ago i gave up stopped going to Dr it was hard no money no job i was accused of being a drug addict i even looked like one i was so skinny still am lol . i been working for a year now with no meds n alot of illness which i hide very well otherwise i would lose my job which i love by the way i do sanitation cuz I'm obsessed with cleaning, that's all me. P's in raising 2 of my grand kids too they help me so much my 1st story since i been I'll hope it tells something bout me thanks

That must of been some question! Piscesgirl221 😊 Welcome! Sure sounds as though you have been through the wringer a time or 2.

I would Not wish this on anyone! And from what I understand it mimics many things, which is why they rule other things out 1st. Has you Dr mentioned MS?😕

Hi sorry for late response didn't remember how I got in the site n a lil busy to take the time. Thanks n yes I been thru a lot mostly with my grown disrespectful kids hadn't talk to them in a year n now i remember why but I stop talking to them n lose my relationship with my grandkids but a whole other story. No my Dr has not even asked about ms someone else told my mom about ms someone who doesn't even know me n now I look up n well it brought me to all of you for some reason

Have you had an MRI or spinal tap?

Is your PCP someone you can be open with, and say look, I have these symptoms, and it just might be neurogical? Can we check?

MRI sounds familiar spinal tap no but thanks for your concern how I'm doing lost my job recently no $$ losing custody if my grankids their dad my son is taking them back so his new gf can boss them around but hey I'll be able to focus in me again my kids are all over 18 now jus me again starting over again I don't absolutely hate my life in fact I love it jus hate hurting so much

Check with ur state programs for help with $. There r so many out there that can help with medical and job placement etc. thats how i was able to get diagnosed

Piscesgirl221 Welcome! What tests has your doctor done? There are so many diseases that mimic MS so tests needs to be done to rule other things out. Glad you found us, this a great group of people. Look forward to meeting you.

Test? Lyme, lupus, idk every mo for 3 yrs 12 tubes o blood and i don't care but the Dr couldn't find anything

Welcome to the site. I certainly hope that you find a diagnosis soon so they can stop sticking you with needles and x-raying you until you can't stand it anymore!

Hi and welcome!

I was fortunate enuf to find a neuro that took one look at me and said “MS” which is very rare. Paying for the tests to confirm it was super hard but i went thru the state programs and found one to help with the cost.

Once it was confirmed it was all downhill from there to get disability and medicare.
