That my younger brother finally realized that he cannot beat the hepatitis c, that he has had for many, many years but only found out about some months back. He will begin the treatment for it the first week in December.
There was a commercial that was on TV this year that said that all of us older folks should be tested for hepatitis c. I asked my doctor if he thought I should be tested and he said the commercial meant if you had had a blood infusion, did IV drugs, shared needles, etc. I have not had or done any of those but since I was having blood work drawn he would add that test to it. I was negative for hepatitis c I am happy to say.

Isn’t it great when a doctor tells you that you don’t have something. I had gone to a doctor and they had done some test for something and he said you are fine you don’t have it. I asked him to Repeat what he just said and he looked at me as if to say why and I said I just like hearing that I don’t have something. LOL
Glad to hear your test was negative, I was tested in the 1990's, negative. I had had many transfusions when my daughter was born by emergency C-Section.. We have a friend that was diagnosed at about age 64, he was treated and is now Hep-C free and feeling great!
