My fathers parents both died when I was very young but I remember them with love. My mothers parents were the most wonderful, kindest, gentlest, most loving people that I have ever known. They both molded and guided my life as much, or maybe more than my parents.

No picture, Morllyn ? π You were blessed to have such loving and involved-in-your-life grandparents. I didnβt. I think thatβs kind of why I want to be there for my grandkids. I want them to have what I didnβt.
Today I am thankful for the MSAA and all of the friends I have made through this forum. In the past year I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet Iona60 , greaterexp , CalfeeChick , jimeka , HeidiK and Raingrrl in person. I wish we all lived close enough to meet up from time to time. So thank you, MSAA, for introducing me to a new family of friends! π
Morllyn i too am thankful for my Grandma's. My grandads passed before I was born and one grandma passed when I was 7, so I only knew one really. She taught me how to garden, bake, have fun, and we had lots of fun at church, as she sang in the choir. She lived to be 102, finally died of breast cancer. But today I am very thankful for my friend Kate. She came and looked after Razor so I could be with my hubby, and when I got home, she had washed up and vacuumed and she had bought me a bar of chocolate. She is such a good friend, blessings Jimeka π¦ π
I wish I had known my grandparents, had 1 grandfather that passed before I was born, that grandmother I really never knew because of the distance in miles between us, I vaguely remember my mother's parents. I just remember his pants legs, shoes, grandmother's skirt hem and tall black shoes. They passed when I was quite young also. I am learning more of them through a cousin I am close with. She was raised near them and remembers well the stories her mom told her. I would say that today I am grateful for my cousin, Sylvia.
