That my husband bought that Mustang convertible, a few years ago, so we could travel down old Route 66, from Missouri to California. I didn’t think it would be any different than traveling in any other vehicle but I was wrong. People responded with waves and hoots, seeing to old folks in such a sweet car.

Morllyn , Awesome! We toured Route 66 a few years ago, but did not have a ride like yours! As we get older, we are letting go of the purse strings a little, too.

Fantastic! Did I see you in Flagstaff or Sedona, AZ? Sedona grows Mustangs, but this one is so sweet, no one could miss it! Just follow the Mother Road! What a beautiful trip!

Sukie427 , we took our trip in the Spring of 2014.

Did you see the burros in Oatman Arizona? There was some type of motorcycle rally going on so there were hundreds of motorcycles and a policeman kept waving us on (because traffic was backing up) but one of those burros would not move out of the front of our car. Mustang or not, he was not moving. The road is very narrow going through that tiny, one block, town and cycles were parked all along the sides with cyclers walking around and on the road. We couldn’t move!
