Enjoy the time you have with him. One other thing ask him all the questions you always wanted to ask him. Like what he liked to do when he was a kid, I’m sure he would love to let you know. Just enjoy him.

Several years ago I video taped my parents life stories. I now have treasures. But wonderful suggestions

erash YES!!! Videotaping is the best! I was just going to recommend it!! That, and recording his voice. Nothing captures a person and brings those memories to life again better than video and recordings. Photos are great, but I prefer the others to round it out. OK, this is going to sound corny, but it might be a precious gift to someone, so I'll go ahead 'n say it anyway: Ask your Dad if he would sing "Happy Birthday" to someone as you record him. Then, the tape can be given to that person on their birthday. ✨ (You could do it for each family member if it isn't too taxing.)

Your Dad looks like a sweetheart. I hope you have a lot of beautiful time together. I'm so sorry you are going through this. Have no regrets.

Hello, Erash. What a beautiful photo. My dad was my hero, also, and I miss him very much, every day, even though it's been 17 years already. I still see and talk with him in my dreams. He was the one who taught me to be tough and independent and to above all be honest in everything I do. A father-daughter is very special. Enjoy your time with your family, and have a happy holiday.
