Fell again...
Nooooooo! ☹️☹️☹️ I'm so glad you are ok. They might start expecting to be fed if you keep calling them over!
Sggmcswain they must be cute! Glad you are ok , you may be stiff tomorrow. Blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈
Glad to hear you weren't hurt.
I'm so sorry. Feel better soon, please let us know how you are doing.
Sggmcswain , I’m sorry you had to deal with a fall, but I’m grateful you weren’t seriously injured. It must have been rough to have to call for help.
Those of us with MS might think about the old advice about always wearing clean underwear!
I am glad your ok. That is my fear I know with me I need to make sure my left foot is in the correct direction that is my foot, that has the drop foot. If it isn’t I fear I will twist my knee and it will come out of it’s joint.
Been there, done that. More embarrassing than anything. Ask your doctor for Ambien to sleep.
Sggmcswain, it's Fancy or1959. First and foremost I am glad you were not hurt . Now on to the reasons why you might be falling. Are you using any kind of safety equipment? The best is to have a walker with you at all time because Walkers give you the most stability. I use a rollator, a rather large Walker with wheels on all four legs and a seat to sit on if you get tired and a basket under the seat to carry stuff, around my house but it's too heavy for me to get in and out of the car by myself with my shoulder and it's also kind of big and awkward. Then I bought a $10 lightweight Walker at a flea market. (That's why they call me the flea market Queen!) On the small lightweight walker I added on to it what I needed to make it usable for me. I put wheels on the front of it and skis on the back to make it roll long easier. Then I put a small basket on the front and bought a tray that fits over the handlebars that I can grab when I stop to eat by myself. It works really well and is lightweight and easy for me to grab and use. Walkers are much more stable than canes and a must if you run a high risk of repeat falls. Do not take a chance of not using safety equipment. Your next fall could be your last fall if you happen to land wrong or hit your head in a bad spot or even break a major bone like your hip. Protect yourself now while you can. Talk to your neurologist about it and your nuerologist will, I am confident, back my hard learned words of wisdom up. Fancy
Fancy, I do have a rockstar. I have still fallen and not gotten hurt. I am not hurting from yesterday. Doing fine. My niece's husband said he would work out with me and he is strict, a Marine.
Rollator
Just love auto correct
Sggmcswain I'm sorry to hear you fell again, but glad you were not hurt. Do you know what is causing your falls? Do you have safety equipment in your home to help prevent the falls?
Jessie
I use a rollator
Only problem, my right leg is numb.
And my brother-law wants me to leave. Don't know where I would go.
I'm glad you are ok and all's well that ends well. However, the fact that this keeps happening is a concern. Can you get some help strategizing on ways to help to prevent it from reoccurring? Also, do you have a Med-alert or something similar for when you fall? Please be careful.
