It is a weird topic, but the past few days my toes have been so painful. Does anyone else experience this? Just when I thought nothing else could possibly hurt this happened! What next, maybe it is better if I donβt know.π Any advice on what helps would be so appreciated. Bless you and your toes! Love, Kelly

Amore55 , is it just pain, as if any pain is βjust painβ, or is it muscle spasms? A couple of times my big and next toe spasmed and tried to pull apart from each other! Donβt worry, they made up and are back together again.π

My daughter had 11 fingers and toes at birth. They clipped the extra finger off before she came home, it was only held on with skin, but the toe stayed until her early teens. My husband loved to get young children, who were just learning to count their 10 toes and fingers, to count her toes. The looks on their faces when they got to 10 and there was still one left!π―π²π³π
LMAO Morllyn that would mess me up so bad!!!!ππ±π©π³
Jesmcd2 I had to make him stop because some of the kids broke out in tears!π We called them her βspare partsβ!π€
Hey Kelly, Amore55, it's Fancy1959. What exactly is going on with your toes? The pain is it in cramp style or does it hurt to walk on them or does it hurt all the time. Are they curling under at all or pushing together or separating more than usual? Our toes are such complicated little creatures and there is so many different things that can go wrong with them. Check out the clubfoot post I wrote this morning in the pictures I put on with it of my poor little toes and see if yours are at all similar. Then get back to me and I'll try to get back to you later this afternoon as I have to go to the doctor shortly. Love you and talk to you soon. Take care of those feet!
My toes arenβt going clubbing or anything. The pain is in the joints where they connect to my feet so each step is painful when they βbendβ. I am grateful that is all it is, I know so many people get curled toes and my heart breaks for them. Kelly xx
Amore55, it's Fancy back. My toes are hurting more and more because they curl under when I don't have shoes on especially and hurt to walk on. It's not so much the joint like yours where they connect to foot it just hurts from the pressure being on the wrong spot on the toe I guess. Having the pain in the joints can't be any fun either so I can feel for both of us! Have you ever been tested or do you have any type of arthritis going on? That might be causing the pain in your joints. Talk to your primary care doctor early in their relatives next time you go in and ask questions. Thinking of you and glad to talk to you again. Take care. How is your pain threshold right now? Is it manageable or is it over the top still? Please keep me advised. Thinking of you fancy
yesterday I stubbed my toe and my whole foot curled in a spasm. That was fun. Toes have minds of their own!
Amore55 This is not a weird subject; in fact our feet are vitally important. And poor humble little things, they are usually hidden in shoes (and in my case, socks and shoes). I began wearing old lady footgear long before I was one because I couldn't bear the pain caused by even a slight heel. Now my feet are stiff and wooden, my toes curl, and the soles badly calloused every place a shoe causes pressure...but I am grateful that they are still there, working hard to keep me upright and walking. Sometimes they spasm at night and I have to contort myself to straighten out a foot, and gently untangle toes. If a genie would give me one wish, I would ask for a foot massage every night to tenderly soothe my hard working feet.
My toes and legs up to the knees are freezing cold, as if I am standing in buckets of ice water. The only relief I have found is a heating pad or blanket. When going out of the house I bring my heating blanket or my heated leg wraps. No medication helps. Does this describe your pain? Has anyone had this type of pain?
Yes, PM sunset,
I had this during original attack ( suspected brain infection ). They were physically freezing to touch, not just an internal sensation, to 3/4 up my calf. White soles and purple toes.Hot water bottles helped a little. I would get short random bursts of warm blood suddenly rushing back into my feet, like a tap had been turned on, only to have it withdrawn a few minutes later. My hand would also go randomly cold, then throbbing, red and overheated like the bloodrush was too dramatic. Thank goodness it only lasted a few days ! 'Twas an odd time ! x
YES!!! That has been with me pretty much since the beginning. My toes are so cold that they're painful. When I touch my toes with my fingers they're fine, but inside they're like being on ice. When I say anything to my neuro, he rather dismisses it and says that's common. (And he's an MS neuro.) "Common" isn't helpful! Sometimes they keep me awake at night and it takes them awhile to "warm up", even tho' they're not cold!
I'm not diagnosed yet but my toes hurt really bad with neuropathy!! It's sad to think such a small appendage can cause so much pain!
Yea my toes are always cold and they curl when I walk! If I don't have my shoes on they hurt so badly when I walk. Especially my big toe on my right side. It tries to leave me but I rub it and it's happy again πI have to laugh at myself sometimes walking around the house with my shoes on
@pmsunset my feet are cold all the time. Sometimes they are almost blue and sometimes they're as red as can be. I try rubbing them to warm them up and I wear socks to bed.I don't walk around barefoot anymore because my toes will curl under and then that really hurts when you step on them. I guess that is just part of it.
