I was diagnosed with MS 3 years ago and my poor husband has been such an angel in dealing with all the nonsense that comes with it. Wednesday, he was diagnosed with ALS. Seriously??? So, now we are making plans for pimped out wheelchairs. Mine will be the TARDIS, his will be a Mini Cooper. Our families think we're crazy! Might as well have fun with it...

Gotta wonder about God's sense of humor
You just have to have a sense of humor these days. Sometimes it's what gets me through the day. I would love to see those wheelchairs.
cindyrn68 , I am so sorry that you both have to handle so much. I pray you keep that wonderful sense of humor with you both and continue to love and support one another as you already have.
Oh my... What a load. What a wonderful thing that you can laugh instead of cry (although I'm sure there are tears.)
Sorry to hear your husband has ALS. Thankfully you have a great attitude to cope with your symptoms as they complicate your life. I hope you never lose your positive outlook. Wishing you both a good week. π€
Go with it why not, I told your new I guess we are not doing that bad
I will say many prayers for the two of you.
Yes, my formula, when coping with the ever present new norms that MS gives us, is to get through the grieving process from anger to acceptance, as fast as you can.
Then"don't ask Why me - ask What now". Keep doing the things that make you happy. There's a pony in the minasu somewhere. Sounds like you have found one! Yeah you!!!
I am so sorry to hear of your husband's diagnosis, but am encouraged by the way you choose to handle this hurdle. If we can't face our challenges with humor, those challenges become insurmountable, in my opinion. Can't way to see pics of your wheelchairs. Is your Tardis bigger on the inside?
I am so sorry for all you are dealing with now. I am inspired by your positive approach and wish you and your hubby lots of happy times on your wheelchairs. ππ
Ugh, so sorry! I appreciate your humor π
So sorry about both your health challenges but glad you can still have a sense of humor. My motto is that I laugh to keep from crying. Praying that you both continue to keep this great attitude thru it all.

I am saddened to hear of your very challenging situation. Trust that you will have a very strong support network of loving people.
@cindyrn68 At least you can sympathize with each other. Keep that since of humor. It will get you the tough times ahead.
cindyrn68 , I've been absent the past few days, so I'm late reading this. You're a true inspiration...may God supply what you and your husband need to get through the coming hard times, but continue to fill you with joy and laughter as you journey through this together on your pumped-out wheelchairs. Praying for you both. We're always here for you. π
Hi @cindyrn68! So sorry about all the challenges you and your hubby are facing. Your attitude and sense of humor are inspiring.
