Thank you all fr well wishing and some great tips on moving.as I went thru some drawers I found some of my comparrisons for MRI and seeing it all again hit so hard. One is hardly any lesions and to multiple not being able to count.I guess it should be hope that I'm not worse than I am physically. etc but we have each day.Cold rain, sheesh...wasn't ready for winter.I cant think of moving right now...but soon enough will....When I'm there it feels so good and than amongst the boxes I'm just glad to have a roof over my head.My heart goes out to all.Everyone asks me if I'm happy...I don't have that look.Ive not had an easy to do life ever so I shy away from bliss....Does anyone have that problem?Afraid to be happy....It has always worked out, God is good....I guess I'm not sure of me.....

jackiesj I do not envy you moving. I hate it with a passion. But I can do it within 2days.😄 I don't keep "stuff" The things I have all have special meaning to me.😊 The only "stuff" I have are some little gnomes in my tree.😄

I wonder why your afraid to be happy.? Being happy is a good thing, and can bring happiness to other's. It's contagious 😁. And it's hard work. It's a choice I make every day.😊 But I would much rather bring a smile to your face than a frown. ~Hugs ~

@jackiesj, Life is short. Though we all have life challenges, some more than others, and some more egregious than others, in my opinion it's much better to focus on what you can do, what you do have, to enjoy even the little things of life, and do your best to smile and be happy, as much and as often as you can. Some days that's easier said than done. Keep looking to your family, friends, and us for support when you need it, or just want to vent. Keep fighting to let your light and beautiful spirit shine through. We're here for you.

jackiesj When I start analyzing all my medical records and information, it does make me feel sad. But, what has helped me so much is like to Jesmcd2 -- deciding to be happy. Although I have ups and downs, the "happiness" mindset that has allowed me to have a positive outlook. This last 6 months I have done some major sorting of "stuff" (from decorations to clothing to kitchen items to furniture), and by giving away a lot, I feel so much better and free - like a weight lifted off. For you, I hope you can get a fresh, new, happy start with your upcoming move.

Jackiesj. Having just moved I know the overwhelming feelings going thru your mind. The stress is awful. That and the getting ready to do something different. It came very close to putting me in a full blown relapse. But I put my trust in God and he carried me thru. I sure wasn't anything I did. But it was worth it all bow that its done. I'm so much happier in my new place with so much less up keep, less stairs to climb, and a very small yard to cut. That alone is enough to make me happy.

If you can dress up like a clown and make all those children happy that alone is reason enough for you to be happy. We make choices to be happy or to hang around in the sad corner. Choose happy.

Prayers and blessing to you.

Donnie

I realize how tired I am from working out of boxes but so thankful for it all.I realized also that its ok to take a mental day or two off and just enjoy normal. Not feeling happy has been not real yet and that this actually will happen.Neighbor had 3 trucks of roof repair people there and I guess my mind has been house best house worst and no one knows from day to day what life is so...dream and life big as one can.I like gnomes!I am pretending those gnomes are packing and gettn the job done.I take something good from you all.Im breathing and alive and now I also pray so much those in different places in life, for other countries and what is happening.Time to move on, cold here in Idaho hope we all have a blanket to cuddle up with in times we need....TY to all....Sometimes when abuse in life has happened you have to rethink when major even blessing come and you feel indifferent. and we all have health issues.I know its good...just getting there...

Hello!

I too just moved from a house to a mobile home. Twenty eight years of stuff does not fit in a two bedroom mobile home. But now that it is over, I can't remember half of what we got rid of!

I live here alone all week as my hubby is staying at his job for a while longer.

Now that's depressing! Thank goodness for FaceTime!

As for being happy, we took this home as this park is where we always wanted to be. It is requiring certain changes but what doesn't?

All my illnesses don't make me happy but I saw my children get married, I have seen my first grandchild, and my 37 year marriage has always made me happy!

@Jackie so I understand how you feel about moving. When we moved 16 years ago I told my husband there againow. But one day we may have to. The one positive is getting rid of useless things that we haven't used or seen in years. I always try to look for the positive. I need to get rid of a lot of stuff. It would lessen the stress of cleaning and moving would be the one way to do it. Try to keep a positive attitude and you will find your joy and happiness.

Hang in there Jackie, we have lived in this house for 26 years and it's a 2 story so I will think positive as cljones posted and enjoy getting rid of stuff. 🤓
