thinking fuzzy -

Not sure , with MS there is always the thought ... is this a med or is it progression or the heat or stress ( life)

Today is one of these days , I will stay home today and out of ALL heat . This fuzzy thinking causes self assessment and doubt of abilities yesterday. God please be with each of us today, grant to us wisdom, understanding+ safety as we go through doubt and help us to count on your abilities that never waver -

So true casteeldb

Often wonder what's causing a good or bad day. And too often laced with self-doubt. Fortunately, I often surprise myself and my ability exceeds my expectations...but sometimes my expectations exceed my ability...

I often don't know where to pin the blame, it's what makes this all confusing and hard to deal with. Take a break and wait it out. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Feel better soon, with the heat we're having, I have some exasperations that I feel are heat related. Poor sleep, leg cramps (is that spacitity?) Charlie-horses, I'm drinking 5-6 16oz bottles is water daily, then up all night for potty breaks. Yesterday, had a doozy of a headache. Today, we pray for a better health day. 106 yesterday, dropping to 104 today!😅😅 Thank you for your prayers. 🙏🙏🌈🌈💞💞Lynn

casteeldb Amen! I find myself questioning myself everyday these days. At the same time, I work to stay positive about things and just slow down and take it easy. It's helpful for me!

I am not alone - I believe isolation from each other in the "daily life " ( not anymore with HealthUnlocked and Patients Like Me are the only two sites I will join+ keep up on ) I thank each of you for your responses . Now I can push forward to what needs to be done and back on doubt !

Thank you and God , please bless each of us as we go through this day and week !

I'm sorry you've been feeling less well, but I'm glad you brought this up. I went through a stretch recently in which I felt I was going downhill quickly, but not sure if it was an exacerbation or general progression. By the time I thought about calling the doctors for a re-evaluation, I asked for a low dose of Baclofen for increased muscle spasms, which helped my walking a great deal. I still can't be sure about much of anything, but at this point, I'm doing better overall and won't take time to worry about it. This is such a mysterious disease!

I pray you feel better and stronger.

@greaterexp I know what you are talking about. Since we started moving I feel I've been going down hill quickly. I keep waiting for things to slow down but it doesn't seem to happen. Especially my walking and memory. I'm almost afraid to go out anywhere because I'm always telling people to excuse my staggering because I don't drink or do drugs. Get result of new MRI Tuesday. Almost afraid to hear the results. Even now that moving is done there's still so much to do that stupidly I keep pushing doing dumb things that I know I shouldn't then tell myself how dumb it was to do them. Now how dumb is that. Lol. Blessings.

Donnie, that's not stupidity - that's determination! We are all in the same boat with pushing too much and maybe paying for it later. Maybe, however, you can resign yourself to living in a bit of a mess, and allow yourself a day of rest to heal and renew. I'm praying that the stress of the move is slowing you down a little, and that your MRI comes back looking good.

Hang in there!

Thanks for the reassurance. Sometimes I guess we all need a little word of reason to listen to reality. Life ain't the same ever again I guess. I pushed my limits again all week and your right. Its time to rest. Thanks for reminding me superman don't live here anymore. I tend to forget. Thank you Lord for caring friends. God bless.

i know we are all so different!

i'm not totally sure if this is similar to your fuzzy thinking but ms HAS definitely caused me serious cognitive issues. it saddens me that this is not talked about because it's because of that, not any physical ms issues, that i have been on ssdi since being in my late 20's. it's invisible and while i pass as fine the cognitive impairment i have developed since being dg. in 2001 is absolutely one of my greatest challenges.

wishing you well....nadine

casteeldb i hope you are feeling better today. The heat is enough to contend with without the ms. I wonder if heat is a contributing factor in acquiring ms? Makes you wonder, blessings Jimeka 🦋 🌈 🤗

Amen, Lord please walk with each if us! Please give us guidance and strength!

Sorry your having a bad day. I've struggled thus summer with hear and brain fog. I have received some very good suggestions here. Tried a few and they helped so much to get me back on track.

Bless your heart! Hoping today and many days to come with an abundance of relief!
