I am going to my doctor today to find out what medications are out there and if i change any. We will see, when I go I feel as if I am going to a new school grade, the anticipations is unbelievable. I have had this monster of a disease diagnosis since 2004 but I knewI had it at least for 5 to 10 years before that. I used to go by myself but now I need help, that hospital is so big, to walk through, put me on a wheelchair and we are off. I have to get more Velcro for my brace. Well wish me luck for no traffic (oh yea is there a Red Sox's game tomorrow),in Boston that's a joke even to say that.
Bye for now π

Good question Shona68 I never had a clue and looking back for any kind of symptoms? Besides the extreme tiredness, and my Dr's chulked that up to low iron, at "that" time of the month.π They told me to take iron supplements.π
My doctor told me that it was woman problems I should have changed my doctor right then but I was brought up to listen to your doctor. Boy if my mom was alive she would have said Sandra leave that doctor hindsight but I don't have him any more. That's why I tell people if they don't feel like there doctor is helping them look for another doctor.
I have to tell you my doctor I had never listened to me when I told him I started to trip, had pains in my stomach, which were the pain you get with MS. This doctor never listened and I should have changed doctors but didn't. That is why. That's why I tell people be your own advocate.
ssdw1958 You said something about getting new Velcro for your braces so I thought you might like to hear this. My husband kept taking his braces back to get the Velcro replaced because it would keep coming off. It frustrated him. While walking through Walmart one day he saw a package of Heavy Duty or Industrial Strength Velcro strips, 1 1/2 or 2 inches wide (I cannot remember) and decided to try them. They were not expensive. They worked great. Has never had it come off. I think they were either 10 or 16 lb. strength. I am not sure if they were in the crafts or some other department but I am sure someone could help find. I do not know why the Orthotics place cannot use that.
Thank you I will look for them the next time I am there, because it is a real pain when they come apart. I asked where I have my rollator brakes adjusted but they don't have that there. You would think they would.
I knew something was wrong with me I was tired and most of all I was more of a cluts I was tripping more. I had gone to visit my sister and we went for a walk a I was dragging my foot and she said you need to find out what that's all about. I did go to my doctor and he said I don't see any thing wrong. That was in 2002 I waited 2 years for more thing to go wrong the pain in the stomach, the tripping to get worse and the numbness in the hands and feet. I looked in my medical book and googled it I either had Lyme disease or MS then I finally demanded that they find out what it is on and I got my MRI.
