Hello.
This is my first Ramadan with M.S. I am so happy i am able to fast and doing my three injections at night; after breaking iftar.
Maria.
Just be careful, Maria. I get really weak sometimes when I don't eat or drink and am more likely to have balance and coordination problems so hopefully you won't issues as well. Have a blessed Ramadan
Thank you for your advice. In fact, i did notice some weakness and balance issues when i am hungry and/or thirsty. I have balance problems in my regular days. This is my first M.S ramadan and i pray it will be safe.
Thank you.
Maria.

Glad it's going ok for you.
Having discussed this with my diabetic patients, I guess there are exceptions allowed for health issues?
Blessed Ramadan to you
Welcome to the forum, marie66mm . No one really wants to be a part of this family, but we're happy you found us. I've found the people here to be welcoming and encouraging. I hope you do too.
As this is your first Ramadan with MS, does this mean your symptoms started since last year? Were you recently disgnosed?
As erash mentioned, I, too, thought there was an exception made for those with health concerns. I'll also echo what Corran731 and StacyHayward said: Please be careful. And I have to ask--why 3 injections? I'm obviously unaware of a DMT that requires more than one shot a day. 😉
Welcome! 💕
Hello.
Sorry for not being clear. Three injections a week. I am on Copaxone 40ml.
I was diagnosed last September 2016.
I did ask 2 neurologists before i did fast and they did O.K it.
I did many medical researches and it did confirm that some M.S patients may benefit from fasting while other they do not.
I started fasting since the age of 12.
I pray and ask for help.
Thank you.
Maria.
I'm sure it's me that misunderstood, marie66mm . I seem to be losing my marbles quicker than I can retrieve them these days. 🙄I just don't 'get' everything I read.
I will pray for your continued strength until fasting ends on Eid al-Fitr. June 25th, right? Until then, please take care. 💕
Have a Blessed Ramadan
I also get dizzy and unbalanced when I miss a meal, which is not often. Please be careful and have a blessed Ramadan.
