jimeka You are so right! We always have the best time going to get art supplies. We're going tomorrow (uh, later today-hee hee) and my granddaughter is going to be there too! Here's to carrying on the tradition! Oh yeah, my daughter is actually almost 24 y/o not 23 (oops, guess I was still trying to make myself younger)

Fancy1959 Thank you for such a sweet compliment. Not sure if I'm just being biased, but I must agree with you. : ) Her artwork always hung on the walls of our house. Almost broke my heart letting her take it with her when she got married. Well, it is her work after all.

erash Thank you so much. I would like my daughter to know she has as much talent as she does. I agree, she does beautiful artwork! (must be something she got from me...haha?)

I'm making sure we both have the supplies we need to paint. Today wasn't good for her so more than likely we'll be going Friday. I'm still working on finishing the 2 paintings I started. My right hand aches badly after painting so I have to work on my pain-level/nerves to finish.

Having the MSSA calendar for 2017 I see all the beautiful artwork submitted to them previously and I've thought about sending my painting(s) to them, but my skill isn't what it used to be and no where near as beautiful as the artist in the calendar. Yeah, my daughter gets it from me.
