Daily Thanks

There are only a few days left in November. I am determined to pause and think of at least one thing I am thankful for each day until November steps aside and allows December to take her place...

Today is Saturday. I am thankful my plumbing is working better today. I'll never take a functioning bowels and bladder day for granted again.

It's amazing what we do take for granted. It's not until a major event like being dx with ms comes into your life that you start to look at life differently and we maybe appreciate the smaller things in life more. Or could it be that now we have ms we have more time to appreciate the smaller things!

Hope your plumbing improves, blessings Jimeka

I am thankful for the extra days I'm spending with my parents and thankful for the phone conversation with an uncle I haven't spoken with since I was @ 8yrs

I think since my dx with MS I'm not taking so much for granted. It's taken me a year or more to understand why I have MS and I think jimeka has it right. I do appreciate the smaller things in life. I also have been enjoying visiting with my Aunt & Uncle who have been staying with us until tomorrow.

I hope Tutu's plumbing continues to work well. : ) I know what it means to be fully functional.

That's a good one Tutu.. me too. However, today I'm glad our area of California is getting some needed rain.. Even if it hurts my arthritis, I can stay inside and warm.

Good morning. Today is Sunday.

I am thankful we live in a country that allows us the freedom to worship. I am also treasuring the ability I have, at this very moment in time, to leave my home to gather and worship with others. I know many of our friends here wish to do the same, but are unable to do so for one reason or other today. I can't physically take you with me, but you'll be with me in song and prayer this day. Happy Sunday to you all. 💕

I am thankful today for the time I have been able to spend these past few days with most of my family. My dad has been recently widowed and has been visiting this week. We have been able to talk about his past, and about my mother, and even events in my early childhood.

Most of my children were also able to come for Thanksgiving I and II this year. It's been a lot of work, but quite worth it. Today ... rest and allowing others to serve me.
