I am exhausted from busy PT week and getting over a recurring bladder infection; it's sunny today and I am looking forward to a MS workshop on Tools and technology this weekend.

I wanted to wish you all a nice weekend and here's to positive living with MS.

I will tell about the workshop. I am a fan of the learning opportunities for MS and I always take something new even when on same subjects at other programs.

They don't have any ms workshops near me. I did attend a ms group once but all they talked about was negative things, when it was suggested that we do something positive, someone said, let's all jump out of an aeroplane to raise money. No one will ever get me to voluntarily jump. Anyway my daughter did it instead of me, then a couple of weeks later found out she was pregnant, 3 years on we are still trying to tame the grandchild!!!! Anyway you enjoy, and glean what you can. Hope the bladder infection heals quick.

I had the same support group experience as you but I meant some folks at one of these workshops they talked about groups they know of that have good positive energy and so I tried another and I've been going for thre years and made three really good friends; positive people with MS despite issues but fun pals:) they're out there but sometimes it takes time to find one.

Have a happy sunny week-end yourself! How about a report on the MS workshop next week? Everyday living with MS is an learning experience.

Thank you! Hope we both get over our UTIs. Sick of them and Bactrim. We're having our youngest son and his family over for dinner tonight, so a great start to our weekend here. Love those grandsons! A happy weekend to you as well. Hope the MS workshop was good.

The workshop was great lots of information about gadgets and equipment for making living with some needed help because of MS. Technology and home and personal helpers even apps for smartphones/computers to organize and keep track of information, appointments and reminders and Med management; of course all at a very reasonable price NOT LOL

I did learn enjoyed just made shuttle transportation got me there very late so missed half the program. I think of these things as lessons about patience and not having to always have control.

Here's to a looking forward week and bladder infection gone and hope it stays that way!

Thanks for the update, Lindy. Sorry your shuttle delayed you and you missed some of the conference. I've tried an MS app-maybe the MSAA one? Can't remember. But I couldn't get the hang of it and no patience to figure it all out. I'm still better with pen and paper. I have post-it-notes EVERYWHERE! Now if I could only remember where I put the one I'm looking for. 🙄 Praying your UTI disappears for good and you feel a whole lot better.
