41 years old. Married 15 years to my best friend and soul mate. 2 kids (21 year old son and 11 year old daughter).

Diagnosed "officially" in 2009 but had first symptom in 1998. Stopped working in March 2010. I've been on Betaseton, Aubagio and now on Tecfidera since April 2016. Speaking with my MS Specialist 9/30/16 about Ledmtrada.

Hello MRomanow, it's Fancy1959 officially seconding John's welcome to this wonderful chat room. We have become more than a chat room we have become more like a community and an extended family. It is a great place to come with any concerns or questions you might have. As you soon will find out this is a very safe place. Sometimes we laugh together sometimes we cry together but the key here is we always share because together we are stronger. Let us know where this journey takes you. Everyone's MS goes down a slightly different path. No two are just alike. Tell your wonderful family that if they have questions or concerns they should feel free to read along with you because we have a lot of information that can assist them in their fear MS and the future. It sounds like you have a very positive attitude. Keep your chin up. And try to remember it could be so much worse than MS. The future might not play out exactly as we had planned 5 or 10 years ago but we still have a future. And we can make it as full as our heart desires to make it. We value every members questions and concerns made in the form of post and any replies they make to our posts. I look forward to talking to you in the near future. Take care.

Hi MRomanow looks like you almost slipped through the cracks and we can't let that happen :) l hope you will come and join our chat discussions and jokes. I think we have an awsome chat room even if it is because of this monster they call MS.

As you can see we talk about pretty much anything and everything here. But most of all we give each other support :)

Hope to hear from you soon :)

Another warm welcome, MRomanow! It sounds like you have a supportive spouse. What a blessing that is! I do too. My husband is my best friend (though I haven't treated him as such this week 😬). We've been married 38 years. I'm glad Fancy and Jes 'resurrected' your post. I never saw it. Maybe it was posted about the time I found this great site and group of wonderful people? I look forward to getting to know you better.
