Brown line/mark on toe

Hello

I’ve noticed a relatively new dark mark/line near my toenail on my left foot. I’m worried this might be cancer. Does anyone have any experience of this or any advice on what it could be? I’m waiting on a GP appointment. I haven’t injured my toe in that area to my knowledge. Thanks so much

Thanks - let’s hope it’s not cancer!

Picture isn't very clear but highly unlikely it's cancer. Let us know what the doctor says.

The GP doesn’t know what it is either! She’s speaking to one of her GP colleagues who is an expert in skin conditions to see if he knows what it is.
