Large smelly nasty skin tag??

For at least the last 8 years a once miniscule skin tag which sat under my breast on my upper rib cage grew enormous, i visited the doc who said it sometime happens dont worry. At the same time i became disabled a few years prior, As a result i gained weight & my bra size went from a 36e to 42g, A couple of days ago id said i felt sore, i had hubby have a look, he found the tag had what looked to see that the tag looked like a collection of blood under the skin, as i have a health check booked for the 24th we decided to wait and show the nurse. Last night whilst getting ready for bed, i felt wet under the breast, i lifted myself up and an abhorrent smell hit me. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS COULD BE ? I did consider going to emergency doc but dont want to take an apt from a more needy patient.

Oh dear poor you my darling. Skin tags are really annoying but sounds as if this one has gone rogue and become infected. Good to know you have an appointment very soon.

UPDATE,, the skin tag issue has resolved itself, a lot of the tissue came away after it looked like a grape being peeled its now back to normality, my GP reckoned it was down to its location and constant friction from my breast.
