Mole worth getting checked out?

Is this worth getting checked out? It's gone from flat with only 1 black spec to raised and a few black specs in a week or so.

So far I have had 6 moles removed due to various forms of cancer, and all have been detected due to the fact that, when visiting my GP I always ask for suspect moles to be checked.

On completing an overseas contract I had an end of contract medical where I pointed out a mole which appeared abnormal. I was referred to the local hospital for a follow up check which took place two weeks later. It transpired that it was benign so, as usual, I asked the doctor to check my back. She immediately said that she would remove a suspect mole, which was fortunate as it transpired that it was a malignant melanoma. Whether the first doctor had missed it, or it was fast growing, I do not know, but I have since been living on borrowed time.

Liam we cannot be too careful with suspect moles, and it is essential to have any checked out sooner than later, especially fast growing moles such as yours.

Please get it checked as soon as possible, even if only for peace of mind.
