I wanted to ask, and by having a read through it does seem related but I am wondering if you are able to share more, does your doctor take notice, was there something more going on?
I have been diagnosed with microscopic colitis around 4 years ago now, but for the last two years I have been experiencing bad flares of urticaria.
I was referred to a dermatologist, and have had a repeat prescription for Fexofenadine. The sun doesn’t really affected my skin but I do know that if my tummy is having a bad week, my skin will follow. Whether its stress, feeling under the weather in general, I am not sure. It flares on my face and sometimes it’s been really bad where my face swells up, I have little papular all over the face and it sometimes takes a good few months for it to die down.
Any insight, advice, knowledge that you can share would be really appreciated.
Best,

Hi sorry you are having problems with the tummy and skin.
Has the dermatologist done a biopsy yet? I had a Urticarial type rashes and fexofenodine 180x 2 a day did absolutely nothing. The rashes were constantly there and on my back. Some were annular and some archiform in nature ( round/ circular and/ or in a arch form.
They did a biopsy and diagnosis was Urticarial Vasculitis and Jessners Lymphocytic infiltration.
At the same time as the skin problems I was having trouble with the tummy as well and at first diagnosed with IBS but as there was other symptoms it was investigated and I was diagnosed with Diverticular Disease and Bile Reflux Gastritis. I've also been diagnosed with Sjogren's Syndrome and they are repeatedly testing me for lupus.
I know some of these problems are linked but they can also happen in their own right.
Ask your dermatologist if you can have a biopsy and it would be a good idea to take photos of the rashes and keep a symptom diary as doctors don't always realise if there is a pattern of symptoms and only see the rashes when you are in front of them. The photos and diary can be of great help for them and you as well.
