Health Professionals Need More Training on Autoimmune Diseases

I wrote about this already, but will change it slightly. Finding a Physical Therapist who understands PMR is impossible in my area. It is disconcerting that the ones I have dealt who have advanced degrees in PT, have never heard of PMR; consequently, I have been more physically hurt by some exercises than helped to the point I have stopped going. This after 20+ years of being a gym rat. Since there are so many DVDs on exercises for various conditions eg. Parkinson's Disease, wouldn't it be grand to find a few therapists who do understand our needs and have this forum be behind the creation of a DVD for patients suffering from PMR and other diseases in the vasculitic group. And also addressing the emotional needs of people with this condition.
