Besides steroid creams. Does anyone have suggestions of how to treat lichen planus?

If this is an autoimmune disorder and it seems it is then you need to try and dampen down your overactive immune system there is a good website called selfhacked I suggest you look at the article on there entitled How to cure Autoimmune disorder

You could try organic essential tea tree oil, mix a few drops into organic unrefined coconut oil. Treat with that topically. But yes definitely look into what's provoking your immune system. Fungus.... If that's in your home or work place that may be your root cause.
