I've been having a problem with dizziness. It mostly affects me when I stand up or move my head quickly......it also happens as I 'm walking and I might lose my balance briefly. I don't feel like I'm going to fall but it is annoying and troublesome. Anyone suffer from this ?

Sorry you have come to the wrong part of healthunlocked, this part is for running not general medical conditions
Is your blood pressure normal? It is best to check with your doctor as there can be at least 10 different reasons. Also this is a wrong section as pointed out by another member earlier.
I had something Which sounds similar, it was called bppv a problem with the positioning of parts of the inner ear. I was treated by a physiotherapist (privately) and it took less than 5 minutes, with something called the epley manoeuvre. Which was just some simple movements to position the inner ear balls back in the correct position. I've never had it since. I know some Gp's can also perform this manoeuvre and so can my chiropractor and you can even attemp it at home but I think it best with someone helping to get it right.
Best Google bppv and epley manoeuvre for better info as I'm having a bad pain day today and it's effecting my brain 🙄

It could be postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). It has to do with problems in blood volume regulation (or the pooling of blood) in the lower extremities when you stand. Hence, the feeling of lightheadedness upon standing, changing positions quickly, balance problems, etc. It's easily diagnosed, no test required. I have dealt with it for several years. You get used to it. Compression stockings are a great help when you are experiencing a tough bout of it.
Note: You could also have an imbalance in your inner ear, as Joanne1972 mentioned. The semicircular canals in the inner ear (vestibular portion) control balance (and feelings of nausea). It was my chiropractor who straightened it right out. It's something to keep in mind.
Also, chronic migraines can affect the inner ear and balance. In which, regular chiropractic adjustments could be helpful, especially if migraines are triggered by a structural anomaly.
Best of luck 😊
It may be vertigo. There is medication that helps it.
