Unusual rash on calves

Hi sorry for the ugly picture. 😂 I've posted because I've been looking for an answer all over the internet on what kind of rash/discolouration this is. It's only ony calves. They don't really itch. However there is a tightening in both calves like they are being squeezed and twisted. My ankles swell especially after exercise and also I have bumpy bony lumps on the Achilles of the right leg. The left foot big toe won't lift up when the physio asks me to and I'm due to see the vascular surgeon for a Doppler in a week. The Dr thinks it may be a medication side effect and/or PAD. Has anyone had a rash like this? I'm probably being a hyperchondriac, but I feel like a heart attack or stroke is coming...not right now, but I think it's one of the signs. Hoping someone can day don't worry that's....whatever it may be. Need peace of mind. Can anyone help?

Thanks I'm seeing vascular surgeon on Friday not long. 😓

Yeah- you can make yourself crazy trying to identify rash - I would just recommend you get to your doc as soon as you can just for peace of mind if nothing else...

I will try and get another appointment, think they will just say I have to wait till the hospital appointment though because the nurse isn't free to do a Doppler scan apparently. 😑

Update after seeing vascular specialist, femoral pulse not felt, other pulses low, intermittent claudication and metabolic syndrome due to reconditioning no vascular event. Advises weight loss and exercise programme. Physio has booked me on pain management programme which includes quite a lot of structured exercise and I've got some new walking shoes and go out everyday.
