This seems to have appeared. It’s painful if I try to pull or squeeze . I think it’s a skin tag but not sure. My prodding and poking has made it red. I have skin tags under my arms so I am prone to them... this is my rib cage area

I'm sorry Kate - no idea... Did you make it bleed? Because skin tags are generally skin colored, not red..

Yeah i made it bleed it was skin tone colour before

Hi Kate345. Why are you trying to pull or squeeze it? That looks like it could be a mole or a possibly a single petechiae, Whatever it is, it now looks raised and inflamed.

Have you had any luck finding out what this is? Have you gone to a dermatologist?
