What is a biopsy like on the head

Hi, I recently got sent to my local hospital and now I have to have a biopsy on a small red spot on my head, I am just wondering what this will be like as I am quite worried now, as soon as the doctor looked at it he immediately wanted to book me in for a biopsy. What should i expect?

A biopsy is where they take a small sample and check it to see what it is. You will probably be given a local pain killer. Good luck. x

Hi , they rub some numbing cream on the area then inject local anisthetic . After that you don't feel a thing , I had 3 stitches in and had to keep it dry till they came out .
