Are you a 35+ female with a prominent skin condition (vitiligo, acne, psoriasis, rosacea etc) or birthmark, but you've learnt to be body confident and happy with your appearance? If so we'd love to hear from you lisa@britishskinfoundation.org.uk. Thanks.

Are you 35+ with a skin condition?
I am 62 and have had pityriasis lichenoides chronica for the past 6 years. It's an unsightly disease and I am not body confident nor happy with my appearance. It has changed my life and I wish someone would come up with a cure for this freak disease which leaves sores and scars on the body. How can anyone be happy with that?
I understand how you feel. I'm 52 and have these brown bumpy blotches all over my arms and legs and they keep spreading. If I have to hear yet one more person ask me what that is I'm going to scream. It's so bad I won't even where shorts. Let alone any swim attire. In Florida it's even worse. My dermatologist tells me to put amalactin cream on them . Yeah ok they are still there and spreading. I guess both of us will not be happy. I'm sure there are more like us. Some people need to think before they open their mouth with cruel words. 😞
Only i in 2,000 have this and WE had to get it. They fade and you think all is well, then more pop up and you want to put a fist through the wall. I threw out my t-shirts and shorts. Dapsone helps a bit, but they're never contained.
Sorry you have this also. It DOES drive a person mad!
