I want to share something that has helped me.

I just wanted to share something that’s been super helpful for me on my OCD journey—Presently bracelets. They’re created by two sisters who both live with OCD, and I love that it’s a small business started by people who really get it. The bracelets are engraved with reminders based on CBT, so instead of generic affirmations, they speak directly to the challenges we face.

For me, having a reminder like "Brave the Uncomfortable" has made a big difference when I’m dealing with compulsions or intrusive thoughts. I figured others here might find them helpful too!

Feel free to ask me anything or check them out. presentlybracelets.com/coll...

Thank you for the suggestion, but personally, I find that bracelets with watchwords or post-it notes with mantras can become another obsession. The novelty can indeed have a positive effect on you, but, after a while, the effect wears off, and you're back to square one. It's why I don't count too much on the power of words to live OCD-free. I count mainly on my better judgment, determination, patience, and the constantly renewed hope that an OCD-free more satisfying life gives me.

I think that's a great idea! You can always have the reminders whenever you want. I'm glad they help you. Thanks for sharing!
