Hi I started mirtazepine after trialing numerous SSRIs a year ago that did not agree with me. I'm on 45mg and getting severe dizziness to the point I nearly passed out yesterday and fell so ended up at A and E. I'm due to see doctor today to reduce them which I know might be difficult but trying to stay positive.Just wondered if anyone else had the same problem or similar?

I was on sertraline but it was delaying my orgasm with my girlfriend, excuse the personal information but its relivent. She was getting self conscious so I switched to 45 mirtazipane a day and I had a huge anxiety and ocd flair up. The psychiatrist said mirtazipine ain't for ocd. They more for anxiety and depression and they not a ssri. So they put me back on sertralinevand my ocd a lot better. I'm also on mirtazipine but don't need them and sertraline as they simular chemicals except they not ssri. I'm seeing dr to come off mirtazipine on 19th. They put alot of weight gain on,lowering self esteem. I will keep you updated if hard to come off. I come off sertraline before I went back on them, I can with these. Thinking positive helps.
