I need help, losing my mind. Sexual OCD

Hi. I was in an intimate moment with my gf and I had intrussive thoughts, horrible thoughts... thing is, it felt like when I had the thought, the sensation was more intense, which terrifies me. My theory is that when you have an intrussive thought you become hypervigilant and sensations are more intense, but I'm not sure. Anyone understands what I'm saying?

This is not the first time it happens. I have an intrusive thought and I feel like sensations become more intense. I hate this :( does it mean I like my thoughts?

well it’s been like that for me too. There’s the “groinal response” when some OCD sufferers worry about any sensations and sexual arousal when it’s simply the mind unfortunately focusing on that area. It’s got nothing to do with liking intrusive thoughts and everything to do with hyper vigilance and anxiety. Are you getting any help with it?

I don't know if they're more intense or if you're just hyper-aware of your body at that moment and it feels that way. I know that when intrusive thoughts happen it makes me focus all of my attention on what my body is doing so I get what you're saying. I'm sorry you're going through this. I wish I knew how to make it stop or at least that it was easier to cope with. Hang in there, OCD is awful.
