Does being a woman of age, being a woman of color, or a woman of faith been challenging while trying to manage life and/or OCD? I am finally understanding how age, color, and faith plays a role in my journey. How has it affected you? Let’s talk about it.

Not been a problem for me, as such. I manage two of the three categories.

That’s wonderful and encouraging news. Any tips on how you are managing? Hugs 🤗

Strangely, I've not really given it much thought; I've just got on with it. But then, I'm a bit of a recluse; only go out when I absolutely must.

The last two years have done a number on me which makes me not want to stray far from my own door.

I am 74, don't walk well (Fibromyalgia), so a certain lack of confidence there, and I am an odd duck when it comes to faith; Follow the teachings of Jesus; but not a churchgoer, nor do I meet with churchgoers. I see my path as looking after the Creation.

Cheers, Midori

Thank you Midori, for sharing. I too have found the last few years challenging. I do miss the fellowship; it seems so long since we have gathered in the church building. In fact, we will be returning in April. I must admit I’m very apprehensive. I have been filling my time with personal study , and watching service via zoom. I love the thought of looking after the Creation. One of my favorite things to do when I’m stressed is going on what I call a praise walk. It’s simply appreciating nature; I happen to love trees and the smell after the rain. I prefer to walk alone; especially after the pandemic. So, try to stay encouraged and know that you are never alone. Thank you so very much for sharing your thoughts. Hugs 🤗
