Rexulti for intrusive thoughts?

Has anyone had success using Rexulti as an add-on to and SSRI for intrusive thoughts?

What a coincidence. I was reading the Yale lectures on Neuroscience yesterday and they were discussing this specific medication. According to the lecturer, this medication can cause major psychotic episodes and usually is prescribed with another medication to avoid these side effects. I personally don't have experience with it or know someone who has taken this medication.

I have never been prescribed REXULTI, however One book I read twice, and will read again is "overcoming Unwanted Intrusive Thought by Sally M. Winston. Found on Amazon) haas helped me quite a bit. However every thing takes time. One of the best sections is Six Steps to reduce Distress Over a thought. Chapter 7. The only drugs I take is Zoloft, lamotragine, and mirtazapine to help me sleep. See if that book helps you.

Every time my OCD starts to creep in, I open this book and start reading it. I love this book and I too highly recommend it to anyone struggling with OCD
