Hi everyone! I’m new here! Today my therapist officially diagnosed me with OCD and it is nice being able to label what I feel. She recommended I look at the community on this website so I can see that other people also experienced what I have. My OCD types are harm and sexuality. It sucks. I’m feeling better now that I am on new medicine but will be starting ERP soon to hopefully learn some new coping mechanisms and lessen the debilitating anxiety that often accompanies OCD. I hope you’re all doing well and staying safe. Please take care of yourselves and remember that you have so much love and happiness inside of you!

Hi and welcome. I got serious about ERP earlier this year (with a therapist) after having OCD for decades. ERP can be challenging but I am doing much better because of it. I'm convinced that the techniques I'm learning can help with all the various flavors of OCD I've struggled with over the years.
If you ever have specific questions don't hesitate to post them -- there's lots of good advice here.
