Hi guys , I’ve been living with OCD for about 17 years. As you all know , it’s hasn’t been easy. I went to a therapist a couple years ago and I got diagnosed with mild OCD. I have to admit that there are days were mild isn’t what I feel instead I feel like it’s severe OCD. There’s days that I can’t handle the obsessive thoughts. I just tighten my shirt near my chest and breath in and out to hold back all the anxiety I feel.
I can already see many positive posts . I feel happy to know I’m not alone , and all these negative thoughts And feelings I’ve had for years is actually a thing and that others in the community can relate and understand me. So I look forward to this community group .

I feel the same way. This community has been a huge blessing in my short time being a member.
It’s oddly comforting to know that there are others out there that understand EXACTLY how you’re feeling.
In trying to talk to my loved ones about my OCD, they have done as well as they can to understand. However, they fall short (through no fault of their own). This community fills a huge void in my life from working so hard to be understood and heard.
Praying for everyone in this community. Y’all are so loved, and your courageous fight will never be unappreciated!
Hy.I am also struggling with harm OCD from 20 years. It is not easy but there are ways to cope and overcome. Had treatment whith antidepressants and calming pills but didn't work .Is very important to learn what is OCD and let it be
