Hi. I've been doing well the past few days, which is great. OCD is full of ups and downs, but you can learn to deal with it and function.

Despite what you write, it doesn't sound like you are doing great. It sounds like you have OCD and are currently not in treatment? Is that right? Do you have a therapist or psychiatrist that you can work with? Is there someone that can help you get into treatment?

Welcome! Glad you’re here and reaching out! Glad you’re being honest and seeking help. There is good treatment for OCD. Please go to IOCDF’s website for good info on seeking treatment. You aren’t alone and there is hope🙏😊

I agree with Selesnya Sounds like your having a real hard time and I also wonder if you are being treated if you've even been diagnosed as OCD. As I understand it OCD is a caused by a low amount of Serotonin in the brain. As such I currently am doing dietary things to increase the serotonin in my body. It has helped a great deal. I hope that things can calm down for you so you can get things taken care of.

Selesnya : Sorry it took me so long to reply... I kind of had to get a little better to be able to type this out. Anyway I'm glad you are doing better! Sadly for me I been hearing these thoughts telling me what I should do and if I don't do it I think something bad will happen, my hygiene isn't so good I used to take showers everyday but now I just spend my time repeating words arguing with what seems like voices or something, and blinking compulsively almost as if I have some type of motor tic. Wheeloffortune Thank you very much sir I appreciate your support! mopedmike Yes I take 40 mg of Prozac I have been diagnosed with OCD for 4 years now. I feel a little better today but I'm borderline schizophrenic with all these commands and compulsions, anyway Thanks guys!

40mg of Prozac isn't very much. It may be worth a trip to your prescriber to see if you get an increased dosage or add some other meds to help. I would also see about finding a therapist to work with. Despite how the meds help, I would be lost without my therapist. OCD is not easy to get over on your own.

Thank you! I have an appt set for October and I will ask to be put back on 80mgs. I do have a therapist and saw them today. It helped a lot to be able to talk to them I feel alot of my symptoms lifted off my shoulder! Hope you are having a good night. Pease
