I was diagnosed with small bowel cancer last year, it had fragmentated to my stomach and lungs, chemo reduced it in size and I came off chemo as was finding it hard to cope with, in August this year I was complaining of pain in my stomach aswell as anal spasms, eventually they gave me a ct scan just recently and yesterday I got the results, only to hear that the cancer is back and bigger, so now there gonna put me on another chemo treatment which I will be starting next year, after I see my daughter get married in January , which is my choice. the treatment I will be on is irinotecan with fluorouracil and folinic acid , obviously I know it won't be a walk in the park, but if anybody has been on this kind of treatment please could you let me know, I hear the side effects are feeling like crap, lost of hair so I'm gonna look like an egg head, I've always wondered what I would look like with no hair. !! lol, diarrhoea and feeling sick, my consultant said the side effects of my last lot of chemo shouldn't get any worst but having the feeling of pins and needles in your hands and feet, aswell as cramping is annoying.

Hi sorry to hear about the cancer coming back. Chemo is very harsh on your body and mind. Put as much Suppprt as possible b4 you start your chemo and enjoy every moment of your daughters wedding. All the best. Sending you lots of hugs and healing. Xx

Hey Tracey, I'm dealing with the pain and only taking pain killers when really necessary, I'm off on holiday in a few days time as this cold weather doesn't help with the side effects of previous chemo, plus I want to look healthy for my daughters wedding, well that's my excuse lol

I hope your ok and wish you a happy new year x
